Age Limit:

Candidate should have completed 21 years of age on 01-07-2021 and should not have completed more than 28 years of age, ie the candidate should not have been born before 01.07.1993 and after 01.07.2000.

Provided that in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other such categories, the higher age limit will be higher as many years as may be specified by the State Government from time to time. Relaxation in maximum age limit:

1. Scheduled Caste – 05 years
2. Scheduled Tribes – 05 years
3. Other Backward Classes – 05 years
4. Ex-servicemen – 03 years
5. UP State personnel- 05 years

Pay Scale:

• Police Sub Inspector (Confidential) – 9300 – 34800 & Grade Pay-4200 Level – 6 Rs. 35400 – 112400
• Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) – 5200 – 20200 & Grade Pay-2800 Level – 5 Rs. 29200 – 92300
• Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) – 5200 – 20200 & Grade Pay-2800 Level – 5 Rs. 29200 – 92300

Educational Qualification:

Police Sub Inspector (Confidential) –

• भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक उपाधि या सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त समकक्ष अर्हता,
• कम से कम 25 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से हिन्दी टंकण (इन्स्किप्ट की-बोर्ड पर यूनीकोड में) तथा कम से कम 30 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से अंग्रेजी टंकण,
• न्यूनतम 80 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से हिन्दी आशुलिपि श्रुतिलेख। उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस भर्ती एवं प्रोनति बोर्ड द्वारा अवधारित शुद्धता के आधार पर अभ्यर्थियों को सफल घोषित किया जायेगा।
• भारत सरकार के राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रानिक एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (नीलिट सोसाइटी ) (पूर्व में डोयक सोसाइटी) से कम्प्यूटर में ‘ओ’ लेवेल की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करना अथवा सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई अर्हता धारित करना आवश्यक है। 

Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) –

• भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक उपाधि या सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त समकक्ष अर्हता,
• कम से कम 25 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से हिन्दी टंकण (इन्स्क्रिप्ट की-बोर्ड पर यूनीकोड में) तथा कम से कम 30 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से अंग्रेजी टंकण,
• भारत सरकार के राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रानिक एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (नीलिट सोसाइटी ) (पूर्व में डोयक सोसाइटी) से कम्प्यूटर में “ओ” लेवेल की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करना अथवा सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई अर्हता धारित करना आवश्यक है।

Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) –

• भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित विश्वविद्यालय से वाणिज्य में स्नातक उपाधि या लेखा शास्त्र में परास्नातक डिप्लोमा या सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त समकक्ष अर्हता,
• कम से कम 15 शब्द प्रति मिनट की गति से हिन्दी टंकण (इन्स्किप्ट की-बोर्ड पर यूनीकोड में),
• भारत सरकार के राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रानिक एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (नीलिट सोसाइटी ) (पूर्व में डोयक सोसाइटी) से कम्प्यूटर में “ओ” लेवेल की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करना अथवा सरकार द्वारा उसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई अर्हता धारित करना आवश्यक है। 

Preferential Qualification:

अन्य बातों के समान होने पर ऐसे अभ्यर्थी को अधिमान दिया जायेगा जिसने : 

1. डोएक (DOEACC)/नाइलिट (NIELIT) सोसायटी से उच्च प्रमाणीकरण या सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त कम्प्यूटर अपलीकेशन/ प्रौद्योगिकी में स्नातक उपाधि या उससे उच्च अर्हता प्राप्त किया हो,
2. विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग से मान्यता प्राप्त किसी संस्थान या महाविद्यालय या विश्वविद्यालय से विधि में स्नातक किया हो,
3. प्रादेशिक सेना में कम से कम दो वर्ष की सेवा की हो,
4. राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर का ‘बी’ प्रमाण-पत्र प्राप्त किया हो।
