Selection Process:

Written Examination
Working Knowledge of Computer (Junior Medical Record Technician (Jr. MRT) and Optometrist/Refractionist)

Written Examination

Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:

The Exam Will be Multiple choice objective type.
The maximum marks will be 125.
100 Questions (100 marks) will be based on Technical professional / Subject/ Post & 25 Questions (25 Marks) on Aptitude / General Awareness / General intelligence / Arithmetic Ability.
The Duration of Examination Will be 02 Hours.
The questions will be set Bilingual (i.e. English and Hindi language).
There will be negative marking at the rate of 0.25 marks to be deducted for every wrong answer to eliminate the element of chance.
The level of difficulty will be as per the educational qualification of the post. The questions on Arithmetic Ability will be of 10th Standard Level.

Exam Syllabus: The Exam Syllabus Will be as Follows:

Aptitude: Verbal Ability: English grammar, sentence completion, verbal analogies, word groups, instructions, critical reasoning and verbal deduction. Numerical Ability: Numerical computation, numerical estimation, numerical reasoning and data interpretation

General Intelligence: It would include questions of non – verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non – verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed t o test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the general awareness of the environment and its application to the society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General polity and scientific research.

Arithmetic Ability: Algebra Basic algebra, factors & simplification, polynomials, Arithmetic Simple & compound interest, installments, taxation, shares & dividends, Ratio & proportion, percentage, time, distance & work, profit & loss, Pipes & Cisterns, Mensuration, Problem on Ages, Investment etc.. From Data Interpretation Use of Tables and Graphs, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar-diagram, Pie-chart, Pictorial Graph etc.

Working Knowledge of Computer (Junior Medical Record Technician (Jr. MRT) and Optometrist/ Refractionist)

Computer Skill Test (Qualifying in Nature) for candidates not exempted from typing:

Education Qualification :

Senior Medical Officer (AYUSH)	Essential Qualification: (i) A Degree in any of the five streams of AYUSH from recognized University/ Statutory State Board / Council/ Faculty of Indian medicine or equivalent, recognized under the relevant council. (ii) Enrolment on the central Register of that stream in central or state register of Indian Medicine. (iii) Experience: Five years clinical and/ or Teaching Experience in a recognized hospital / teaching institution Desirable: A Postgraduate Degree in any of the five streams of AYUSH from a Recognized University/ Statutory State Board/ Council/ Faculty of Indian medicine or equivalent, recognized under the relevant council.
Medical Officer (AYUSH)	Essential Qualification: (i) A Degree in relevant streams of AYUSH from recognized University/Statutory State Board/ Council/ Faculty of Indian medicine or equivalent, recognized under the relevant council. (ii) Enrolment on the central Register of that stream in central or state register of Indian Medicine. (iii) Experience: 3 years clinical and/ or Teaching Experience in a recognized hospital / teaching institution Desirable: A Postgraduate Degree in relevant stream of AYUSH from a Recognized University/ Statutory State Board/ Council/ Faculty of Indian medicine or equivalent, recognized under the relevant council.
Junior Medical Record Officer (Receptionist)	Essential Qualification: For Jr. Medical Record Officer B.Sc. (Medical Records) OR 10+2 (Science) from a recognized Board with at least 6 months Diploma / certificate course in Medical Record keeping from a recognized institute / University and 2 years’ experience in Medical Record keeping in a hospital setup. AND Ability to use computers – Hands on experience in office Applications, spread sheets and presentations. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 minute in Hindi. For Receptionist: Degree in MASS Communication/ Hospital Administration/ Hospitality Management from a recognized University/ Institute. AND Ability to use computers Hands on experience in office Applications, spread sheets and presentations.
Social worker	10+2 from a recognized board and 8 years experience as Social Worker
Coding Clerk	Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Medical Records) OR 10+2 (Science) from a recognized Board with at least 6 months Diploma / certificate course in Medical Record keeping from a recognized institute / University and 2 years’ experience in Medical Record keeping in a hospital setup. AND Ability to use computers – Hands on experience in office Applications, spread sheets and presentations. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 minute in Hindi.
Maternity and Child Welfare Officer	Essential Qualification: Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institutions. Experience in Family Welfare programmer: 01 year for degree holders. 02 years for Diploma holders
Medical Record Officer	Essential Qualification: I. Bachelor Degree preferable with Science & Recognized University or equivalent. II. Should have done one year course in Medical record from recognized Institution. III. Not Less than 5 years of experience in organizing and maintenance of Medical records in not less than 200 Bedded Medical Hospital / Institution.
Medical Record Technician	Essential Qualification: B.sc. (Medical Records) Or 10+2 (Science) from a recognized Board with at least 6 months Diploma / certificate course in Medical Record recognized institute / University and 2 years’ experience in Medical Record keeping in a hospital setup. And Ability to use computers – Hands on experience in office Applications, spread sheets and presentations. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 minute in Hindi.
