The Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive examination for recruitment of Group “B” Non-Gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, and Senior Hindi Translator for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The details of various posts are as under:
Details of SSC JHT Vacancy:

- The vacancies are tentative. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the website of the Commission.
Age Limit of SSC JHT Recruitment :
Candidates Should be 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2022 i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1992 and not later than 01-01-2004 are eligible to apply.

SSC JHT Educational Qualification :
For post codes “A” to “D”:
Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level
and
Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Application Fee of JHT 2022 Form :
Rs. 100/ – (Rupees one hundred only).
(Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with disability and Ex – servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee)
Mode of payment :
Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
How to Apply for SSC JHT 2023:
Applications must be submitted only in the online mode. Candidates may note that only online application will be accepted at SSC only. No other mode will be entertained for the further proceedings.
Steps to Apply Online:
- Visit the official website www.ssc.nic.in
- Now Click on the New User ? Register Now option.
- Click on New Registered (if you are not Registered) or Fill username & Password (If you are already registered).
- Submit All Required Details (1 Basic Details, 2. Additional And Contact Details & 3 Photo And Signature Details).
- Check All the Details & Click on Submit Option.
- Now Apply for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator Examination 2022.
- Fill all required information in the form.
- Make the fee payment and click on submit button
- Print the final application for future references.
