- The Exam Will be of Online Written Type (CBT).
- The Exam Will be of Total 100 Question for Each Correct Answer will get 4 Marks.
- The Time Duration of Exam will be 1 1⁄2 hours (90 Minutes).
- The Question Paper Will be of English Language Only.
- There Will be a Negative Marking of -1 Mark.

JIPMER Nursing Officer Syllabus 2023
The Exam syllabus is Questions from Subjects taught in B.Sc. Nursing and Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery level.
JIPMER Group B & C Syllabus 2023
Reasoning: Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure, Non Verbal Reasoning.
General English: Passage, Preposition, Correction of sentences, active passive voice, direct indirect sentences, Verbs/Tense/Non Finites, Punctuation, Substituting phrasal verbs for expression, Synonyms and Antonyms, Use of adjective, Compound preposition, Determiners, Use of pronouns.
Quantitative Aptitude : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Candidates need to be focus on Basics of Mathematics & Simplification.
General Awareness: Question will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, Economy etc. Focus will be on Current national & International events, banking, sports, special reference to Banking Industry etc.
JIPMER Jr. Translation Officer, Stenographer Gr-II, Junior Administrative Assistant Skill Test:
The skill assessment test for posts mentioned below is of qualifying in nature.
The skill assessment test for above post is qualifying nature. 04 to 08 stations will be created to evaluate the skill based performance of the candidate on various procedures / instruments.
Junior Translation Officer : Descriptive (Conventional Type)
The Skill Test will have Two Passages for Translation-One Passage for Translation From Hindi To English and One Passage for Translation From English To Hindi, and Essay Each in Hindi and English, to test the Candidates Translation skills and their Ability to Write as well as Comprehend the Two Languages Correctly, Precisely and Effectively in Computer. Duration of Skill Test is 2 Hours.
Stenographer Grade II :
The Candidates will be given Dictation for 10 minutes in English at the Speed of 80 w.p.m. The Matter will have to be Transcribed on Computer in 50 Minutes Duration.
Junior Administrative Assistant :
Test for Computer Skills :-
Part A : Typing a Letter / Passage / Paragraph on Computer (25 Marks) :
Typing Proficiency with a Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m. in english or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Only On Computer (35 w.p.m. an 30 w.p.m. Correspond To 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an Average of 5 Key Depressions For Each Word).
Part B : Preparation Of Table / Database in MS Excel – 25 Marks.
The Total Marks of the Computer Skill Test Shall be 50 (Fifty) with Duration of 20 minutes (10 minutes each) for Completing the two Parts. the Candidates shall be Given the text/Matter in the Question Paper. which they have to type/reproduce in the Answer Sheet including formatting of Text and Use of Formulae etc. as per Instructions given in the Question Paper.
