JSSC PGT Preliminary Examination
- The Exam will Consist One Paper of General Knowledge.
- The Exam will be of 450 Marks with 150 Questions.
- Each Question will be of 03 Marks.
- The Time Duration for the Exam will be 02 Hours.

- There will be 100 Objective Type Questions.
- Each Question will be of 01 Marks.
- There Will be No Negative Marking.
Paper 2 – Subject Related

JSSC PGT Teacher Preliminary Exam Syllabus
The Jharkhand SSC PGT Teacher Preliminary Exam Syllabus will be as Follows:
General Studies : Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to Jharkhand, India and its neighbouring countries. Current affairs, Scientific achievements, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Scripts, Capital, Currency, sports and important events. Indian History, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic aspects, Freedom Movement, major features of Indian Agriculture & Natural Resources and Indian Constitution & Polity, Panchayati Raj, community development and 5 years Plan. General Knowledge of Geographical and Political condition of Jharkhand.
General Science : Questions of General Science will include to test knowledge of matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person who didn’t study science as a subject.
General Mathematics : Arithmetic, elementary algebra geometry, general trigonometry, mensuration. Generally, questions of Matric/10th standard will be include.
Mental Ability Test : It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series.
Basic Knowledge of Computer : The questions related to various devices of Computer, MS Windows operating system, MS Office and knowledge of Internet Operating method.
Knowledge related to Jharkhand State : Geography, History, Civilization, Culture, Language-Literature, Places, Mines and Minerals, Industry, Contribution of Jharkhand in freedom Movement, Development Plans, sports and sportsman, personality, civil achievements, national and international importance etc.
JSSC PGT Teacher Main Exams Syllabus
The Jharkhand SSC PGT Teacher Mains Exam Syllabus will be as Follows:
Hindi Language Test : In this Section the Question will be Asked related to the Hindi Paragraph & related to the Hindi Grammar.
General Knowledge : In this Section the Question will be Asked from General Studies General Science General Mathematics Mental Ability Test Basic knowledge of Computer Knowledge Related to Jharkhand.
Subject Information : In this Exam the Question will be asked from the Subject Which Candidates Choose.
