Selection Process:
- Written Examination
- Working Knowledge of Computer (Junior Medical Record Technician (Jr. MRT) and Optometrist/Refractionist)
Written Examination
Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:
- The Exam Will be Multiple choice objective type.
- The maximum marks will be 125.
- 100 Questions (100 marks) will be based on Technical professional / Subject/ Post & 25 Questions (25 Marks) on Aptitude / General Awareness / General intelligence / Arithmetic Ability.
- The Duration of Examination Will be 02 Hours.
- The questions will be set Bilingual (i.e. English and Hindi language).
- There will be negative marking at the rate of 0.25 marks to be deducted for every wrong answer to eliminate the element of chance.
- The level of difficulty will be as per the educational qualification of the post. The questions on Arithmetic Ability will be of 10th Standard Level.
Exam Syllabus: The Exam Syllabus Will be as Follows:
Aptitude: Verbal Ability: English grammar, sentence completion, verbal analogies, word groups, instructions, critical reasoning and verbal deduction. Numerical Ability: Numerical computation, numerical estimation, numerical reasoning and data interpretation
General Intelligence: It would include questions of non – verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non – verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed t o test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the general awareness of the environment and its application to the society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General polity and scientific research.
Arithmetic Ability: Algebra Basic algebra, factors & simplification, polynomials, Arithmetic Simple & compound interest, installments, taxation, shares & dividends, Ratio & proportion, percentage, time, distance & work, profit & loss, Pipes & Cisterns, Mensuration, Problem on Ages, Investment etc.. From Data Interpretation Use of Tables and Graphs, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar-diagram, Pie-chart, Pictorial Graph etc.
Working Knowledge of Computer (Junior Medical Record Technician (Jr. MRT) and Optometrist/ Refractionist)
Computer Skill Test (Qualifying in Nature) for candidates not exempted from typing:

Computer Skill Test (Qualifying in Nature) for candidates exempted from typing:
The working knowledge of computers in respect of PWD candidates, who are unable to type due to their disability, shall be assessed by holding a Written Examination (Objective Type) comprising of questions related to computer.
The Syllabus & Scheme of Examination of Objective Type Test (Qualifying in Nature) on Working Knowledge of Computers of PWD Candidates who are unable to type due to their disability is as under:
