Candidates who Applied Online Successfully For Chandigarh Police ASI Executive Recruitment, They will be called for Single Examination Of Two Tiers. The Dates of Examination will Is Notified Soon On their Official Website. After Written Examination All the Shortlisted Candidates will be Called For Physical Efficiency Test.

Exam Pattern Of Chandigarh Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) :
Chandigarh Police ASI Exam Pattern And Syllabus Details is as Follows ;
- The Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type
- Question Paper will be Based On OMR Sheet (Offline).
- There will be a Single Examination of TWO Tiers, as per Details Given Below;
- Tier I (Objective) – OMR Sheet Based Test (50 Marks).
- Tier II (Subjective) – Written Test (50 Marks).
- Time Duration will be Two Hours (02:00 hrs)
- The Question Paper for the Tier-I and Tier-II Test shall be in Hindi, English and Punjabi Languages.
- There will be a Negative Marking of 0.25 for Every Wrong Answer.

The minimum qualifying cut off Marks in the Tier-I Test for each Category shall be as follows:-
- General Candidate – 50%
- SC Candidate – 40%
- OBC Candidate – 40%
- Ex-Servicemen Candidates – 40%
Note : Only those Candidates who score the above mention qualifying marks in Tier-I Test shall be eligible for evaluation of their Tier-II/Test. Shortlisted candidates after Total Marks in Tier-I and Tier-II Test will be called for PE&MT @10 times of each category of candidates in merit order.
Chandigarh Police ASI (Executive) Syllabus :
(I) G.K. & Current Affairs :- History, Geography and Sociology Economic development of UT Chandigarh and India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Current Events, Sports, Entertainment, Modern History of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity & Economy, Geography of India.
(II) Numerical Ability :– The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
(III) IQ / Reasoning Ability :- The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. Test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc.
(IV) Ethics and Human Interface: Essence, determinants and consequences of Ethics in human action, dimensions of ethics, ethics in private and public relationships. Human Values-lessons from the lives and teachings of great leaders, reformers and administrators, role of family, society and educational institutions in inculcating values.
(V) I.T Knowledge:- Computer Programming, Computer Designs, Full Computer knowledge, Date Mining, Web Development, Software Skills, Data Structure, Windows Operating System Etc.
Chandigarh Police ASI Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test :
Only Candidates fulfilling the height criteria would be allowed to proceed further in PE&MT as per following criteria:-

| Race | (I) One mile in Six minutes (male) (II) 500 meters in Two minutes & Thirty Seconds (female) (III) For Ex-Serviceman above 35 years of age, Physical Efficiency Test will consist of one mile jogging in 10 minutes. |
| Long Jump | For Male Candidates : 14 Feet For Female Candidates : 8 Feet |
| High Jump | For Male Candidates : 4 Feet For Female Candidates : 3 Feet |
NOTE : No Marks will be Awarded for this Test and PET/PST Shall be Qualifying in Nature. Candidates are Required to Qualify each Event of PET/PST who Do Not Qualify will be Eliminated.
