The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow is one of the premier central Universities in the country. The jurisdiction of this residential University is over the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is a Central University, established on 10th January 1996. The 250 acres’ University campus named ‘Vidya Vihar’ is located off the Rae Bareli road, about 10 Km. south of Charbagh, the main Railway Station of Lucknow.

Applications are invited for online admission to the full-time Ph.D., M.Phil, Post Graduate, Graduate, Diploma and Certificate programmes. The University has reserved 50% of seats for SC/ST candidates in all the teaching programmes including research programmes and 10% Of Seats For Economically Weaker Section (EWS’s).

Candidate applying for the Admissions in various Ph.D/M.Phil/P.G/U.G/P.G Diploma/Certificate programmes of Babasaheb Bhimrao AMmbedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow are required to apply online through the official website of BBAU, Lucknow (https://www.bbau.ac.in) and accessing the link ‘Online Admission System 2023. Before filling the Online Application, the candidate must scan images of following documents in CD/DVD/Pen drive with file size of 80KB (maximum) for each document in JPG Format only.
