About BARC Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment:
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has Recently Announced and Invited the Online Applications from the Eligible Candidates for the Posts of Stipendiary Trainee & Technician. About Exam:
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) will soon conduct the Exam for these posts. There are many candidates who applied for this Examination. So, now all the candidates are waiting for the Exam Dates. Many candidates are Searching and Enquiring about the Exam Dates from the Various Sources. Though the Exam Dates are not released yet, but it will be release soon on the official website of BARC.
Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare” to give their best in their exams. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern.
Selection Process:
- Category-I: Written Examination
- Category-II: Stage1 – Preliminary Test, Stage 2- Advanced Test & Stage 3- Skills Test.
- DR/1: Written Examination
- DR/2: Stage1 – Preliminary Test, Stage 2- Advanced Test
- DR/3: Stage1 – Preliminary Test, Stage 2- Advanced Test & Stage 3- Skills Test.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus:
Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-
Category – I :
- Exam will of Objective type.
- Questions will be in the Form of Multiple Type Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Number of Questions will be 40.
- Each Questions will be of 3 Marks.
- There will be a Negative Marking of 1 Mark for each wrong answer.
The syllabus for the said examination will be based on subjects at Diploma/B.Sc. level
Note :-
- Those candidates qualifying in the written examination shall be short-listed for interview.
- Final selection and ranking will be on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview and no weightage will be given for marks
- scored in the written examination. The decision of NRB in this regard is final.
Category – II :
There will be 3 Test for the Selection of Category – II :
Stage1 – Preliminary Test :
Screening examinations to be held to shortlist candidates. The format of the screening examinations will be common for all trades and will be in the following format.

- Exam will be of Objective type.
- Questions will be in the form of Multiple Type Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Number of Questions will be 50.
- Each Questions will be of 3 Marks.
- There will be a Negative Marking of 1 Mark for each wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks for the General Category will be 40% & 30% for the Reserved Category.
Stage 2- Advanced Test :
- All candidates Screened in Stage 1 will be allowed to undertake Stage 2 (Advance Test) in their respective trade.
- The Test will comprise 50 multi choice questions (choice of 4 answers) of two hour duration.
- ‘3’ marks for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Merit List of candidates will be prepared after Stage-2 based upon the scores obtained in Stage-2 only.
- All candidates with <30% in General category and <20% in reserved category will be screened out.
Stage 3- Skills Test :
Based upon the Merit List prepared after Stage-2, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage 3 (Skill Test). Candidates clearing the skill test will be shortlisted and empanelled in order of Merit based on the marks secured in Stage 2.
- The number of candidates shortlisted for Skill Test will depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage 2 but will not
exceed 4 – 5 times the number of vacancies in each trade. - The Skill Test will be based on Go/No-Go basis.
Scope of Training :
Selected candidates will be given training at Tarapur/ Kalpakkam in various aspects of relevant disciplines/ trades, as per prescribed syllabi of each discipline/trade and for meeting stringent requirements of NRB, BARC. The candidates will not have any choice/option for any particular training programme/ training place.
