SLPRB Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2023 Details :
As a part of this, Applications are invited for filling up of 1645 posts of Constable (UB), 2300 posts of constables (AB) in Assam Police & 1 post of Constable (UB) in APRO in the Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-60500/-with Grade Pay Rs. 5600/- and other Allowances, as admissible under the rules. The date and venue of Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test and Written Test etc., will be intimated in due course of time by email, SMS, Social Media and through the SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in)

Age Limit For Assam Police Constable Posts :- (As on 01.01.2023)
18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. the Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).

- i). For the posts of Sub-Officer : 20 to 24 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.1999).
- ii). For other posts : 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).
Relaxations : Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
(iii) Additional relaxation of 3 (three) years in respect of trained Home Guards who have served for a period of 3 (three) years or more for the candidates who apply for the posts of Constables in APRO only.

- H.S.L.C or Equivalent Examination Passed from a Recognized Board or Council.
- Driving License : must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
- Other Qualification: Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate.
