Agniveer – 3500 Posts (Tentative)

Age Limit for Air force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment :
Candidate born between 26 December 2002 and 26 June 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply
Note: In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years.
Salary / Pay Scale of Air force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment :
Composite Monthly Package-
- 1st year package – Rs.30,000/-.
- Upgradation upto 240,000/- in 4th year.
Allowances-
- Risk & Hardship, Ration, Dress, Travel allowances as applicable.
Seva Nidhi
- 30% of monthly emoluments to be contributed by individuals.
- Equal amount matched & contributed by the Government.
- Corpus of Rs.10.04 Lakhs plus accrued interest, exempted from Income Tax, after four years.
Death Compensation
- Non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs.
- Additional Ex Gratia of Rs. 44 Lakhs for death attributable to service.
- Pay for unserved portion upto four years including ‘SevaNidhi’ component.
Disability Compensation
- Compensation based on % disability laid down by medical authorities.
- One time ex-gratia of Rs. 44/25/15 Lakhs for 100%/75%/50% disability respectively.
Educational Qualifications of IAF Agnipath Scheme:
(a) Science Subjects
Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
OR
Passed Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).
(b) Other Than Science Subjects
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course
Application Fee of IAF Agnipath Scheme:
Examination fee of Rs.250/- is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination.
How to Pay Fee for IAF Agnipath Scheme:
The payment can be made by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through payment gateway. The examination fee can also be paid by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.
